Trumped At A Glance

The 2010 Trumped Competition will reach 13 schools in three regions across Nova Scotia. Catering to promising undergraduate and graduate students of diverse faculties as well as aspiring entrepreneurs, Trumped will draw the young, ambitious, and motivated leaders of tomorrow.

Trumped is a post-secondary business competition that challenges college and university students to solve real Nova Scotia business problems under the dual pressures of time and resource constraints.  Teams of up to four entrepreneurial student leaders will develop solutions to specific business challenges and compete with each other for cash and other prizes.  Participants will gain valuable firsthand experience and develop business and personal relationships with competitors and provincial business leaders in communities across the province.  This collaborative process will mirror the entrepreneurial experience and require students to display leadership, creativity and teamwork skills.  The competition will help prepare students to take their places in the Nova Scotia business community after the completion of their studies.
